US or Canada

So I need winter tires for my Subaru. (2013 Wrx STi Hatchback World Rally Blue of course).
I decided to check prices online and it is CRAZY the markup in Canada. Tire Rack is a great starting point. The prices and selection crush what we have locally. And no, I am not in a small hillbilly town but a major city.

I am going with the Sparco Drift rims. I went 17" because they will allow skinnier tyres which will handle better in snow, small tires are cheaper and the larger profile will give it a smoother ride. Of course these things are not that important in the summer, but in winter they have a little higher priority.

So I ordered those and now I am looking for tires.

My current choices are Hankook I Pike RS, Continental Extreme Contact Winter and Gislaved Nord Frost.

Locally the Hankook I Pike RS are 212$. Online they are 180$ That's a pretty significant difference. The mounting will cost the same give or take 5$ a tire. So, tires prices only I am looking at 128$ savings.

I will keep researching prices and update what I find/go with.
